Phoenix MarketCity, the city’s hub for live entertainment and music, will be hosting the world-renowned Rock band, Parikrama, to provide a scintillating experience.
Re-creating the legendary Rock music with Indian instruments like tabla, flute and violin, Parikrama is a Delhi based Rock band comprising of Nitin Malik and Mukul Jain on the vocals, Sonam Sherpa and Saurabh Choudhary on the guitars, Subir Malik on the synthesizers, Gaurav Balani on the bass guitar, Srijan Mahajan on the drums and accompanied by Imran Khan on the violins and Shambu Nath on tabla.
The band’s composition But It Rained has been listed by Rolling Stone India in “25 Greatest Indian Rock Songs of the last 25 Years”.
The music troupe has received global recognition with their popular works like Am I dreaming, But it rained, Vapourise and I believe. They have also been promoted by Iron Maiden during their successful UK tour. The band draws its musical influences from the likes of Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and The Doors.
