Kilpauk seems to be the hotspot for vegetarian fusion food. Quite a few interesting concept-based food joints have mushroomed in the area. We managed to check out a new place recently called Fully Loaded. The bright-lit café with yellow and brown interiors and interesting wall art welcomed us. For a weekday evening, the place had a good occupancy rate. We found a bunch of kids, a young couple and a family of four checking out the menu and relishing food.

Fully Loaded intends to go that one extra mile to make your dish special. Paratha comes with curd, pickle, salad and chutney. Maggie has a lovely, spicy bhaaji topping, Baahubali special grilled sandwich is bulging with potato filling, cheese, chutney and veggies and the Syringe Pani Puri is the star of the show (comes with three chatpata and cold-water varieties). We absolutely couldn’t decide which one to leave behind and ended up trying almost everything.

Maggi with Spicy Bhaaji Topping

The Syringe Pani Puri was delicious with a spicy potato filling and literally accompanied with three syringes filled with tamarind water, pudina water and garlic water. The drama of devouring them is satisfying and you surely try it out if you are a chaat lover. A special mention to their smoked chaas, which is essential if you want to proceed further. The CCC paratha stuffed with cheese, chilly and capsicum is absolutely satisfying. It is perfect for two and is served with an array of sides. The Maggi-based dishes are also quite novel. The Maggi pops are pakodas prepared with Maggi and cheese. They are perfect evening snack.

Bahubali Sandwich

The Bahubali Grilled Sandwich (as the name suggests) is like a giant club sandwich. It is almost difficult to get through all the layers in one bite. Also, if you are a fan of pizza, try their Tandoori Paneer Pizza loaded with cheese and veggies. You will be in food coma.

Round off the heavy meal, with paan flavoured milkshake.
