In case you are going as a part of a large, organised trekking groups then you will have no difficulty but in case you are on your own, then just ask around locals about the best possible routes once you reach your destination. The night before the trek you can camp at the foothills of Nagala range and enjoy a night of bonhomie and bonfire.

One of the most common trails is the one that starts near the Kone reservoir. It’s best to start the trek early in the morning, ideally as early as 5 am.

After the first 10-minute walk, you will be charmed by the view. The backwaters of Kone reservoir against the backdrop of the Eastern Ghats form a stunning backdrop. After this you will enter a maze of shrubs that has multiple trails and you will meet several other trekkers. From here, all trails lead to one destination. You will pass through dense, green forests with freshwater ponds that have sparkling, clean water. It is a sight for sore eyes. You can spend some time here soaking in nature’s beauty. Locating the ponds and following the right trails might be a little difficult and you might even lose your way a couple of times but therein lies the fun and adventure. Alternately you can hire an experienced guide.

As it gets dark, it is advisable to return to your base camp since it might get pretty rough at night in the forest area.

You can finish the entire trek in two days and relax on the third day and get back!
