After months of speculation, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu finally got engaged to Naga Chaitanya, actor Nagarjuna’s son on Sunday in a private ceremony in Hyderabad attended by family and close friends. Samantha shared a picture on Instagram where she is seen doing a jig and she captioned it “my state of mind right now.” She also shared the photo of her engagement ring, a massive solitaire, on Monday. Twitter went berserk with fans of the duo congratulating them online and friends from industry wishing them online.
For the engagement ceremony, Samantha wore a specially designed sari by Kresha Bajaj, while Chaitanya opted for a natty suit. Sam looked breathtakingly gorgeous in the off-white and gold saree teamed up with kundan ornaments. The embroidery design of the Saree shows the entire marriage sequence and a scene which is from “Ye Maya Chesave” which was shot in Central Park in a scenic location.
Samantha started trending on Thursday itself after she shared a video featuring Naga Chaitanya, and titled ‘Koecsh by Kresha Bajaj for Samantha Prabhu’ on Instagram . The video also features designer Kresha Bajaj, who owns fashion label Koecsh, which specialises in custom made bridal lehengas. Her fans had started speculating then that she will don a Kresha Bajaj outfit for her engagement and it turned out to be true!
