The humble French Fries might be the designated sides for burgers, sandwiches and sliders but there are many others who love to order fries to kickstart their meals. Well-made, crisp and non-greasy fries are a dream for most potato lovers. Accompanied with a decent dip, they serve as perfect start to a lavish meal.

The Bombay Fries, a Mumbai-based chain has opened its first outlet at a lane in Sterling Road. It is a cosy 250 square feet cafe with artsy doodles on the wall and serves primarily fries and milkshakes.

The fries section in the menu has 10 different variations with some including classic, cheese, chilli cheese, mayo cheese, salsa cheese and garlic cheese. Then there is another section which has some 15 variations under the tornado fries which are twisted with interesting flavors such as Bruce Lee fries, Chipotle fries and Amboo fries. The Bruce Lee fries is really spicy and perfect for all those who like it a little hot. They even have Nutella Fries for all those with sweet tooth. If you love Mexican flavors, try out their Burrito Fries with kidney beans, salsa, chipotle, sour cream and cheese.

There is also a separate make your own fries (MYOF) option, where you can select the fries and the sauce combination as per your choice.

After setting up three outlets in Dombivali, Mulund and Surat, The Bombay Fries founder, 21-year-old Sanket Agarwal has launched the fourth outlet in Chennai.

The place has been garnering rave reviews and is a giant favorite among the college-going crowd in the vicinity.
