In a mood to have some yummy food while sitting outdoors in this amazing weather? Well, try out this new café at Abhiramapuram in the complex of Chennai Floats (which is a sister concern). They have a creative vegetarian menu at a reasonable price. You can spend a quiet evening with friends sipping on coffee and munchies or work with your laptop and relish a healthy, nice working lunch.

Taking us through the menu, owner Dimple Prakash tells us that, “Meraki is a Greek word that roughly translates to do something with all your heart, with love, with your soul, with complete devotion. That is what we intend to do at Café Meraki. We want to serve food prepared with loads of love and devotion,” she says. The location is perfect since it is almost touching the plush Alwarpet and yet far away from the bustle of the area. Sitting amidst a green foliage in natural setting, you can relish your food as you engage in banter with family or friends.

Their Beet Pasta has already become a huge hit on social media with FB posts dedicated to it and Instagrammers sharing it. Prepared with beetroot and wholewheat pasta, this variation is creamy, rich and much healthier than the usual pasta dishes. The cottage cheese cigars are crunchy outside and succulent inside. Served along with some mayo dip, this is a great option for paneer lovers. They also have a sandwiches and burgers on the menu. Their paneer sandwiches are pretty filling. You can wash this down with anApple Cider Vinegar with Cranberry Mocktail. If you love your desserts, then indulge in the sinful dark chocolate mousse or the innovative gulab jamun mousse.

The café might be slightly difficult to locate but you can just use your GPS to get there. The quiet location and the delicious food is surely a big draw. Check it out!
