Mexican cuisine is relished by Indians across the world, especially for its semblance to desi food. Imagine a dash of Indian sauces and masala into a good old burrito or a chicken tikka stuffed quesadilla! It only adds on to the fun! Wrapchic, started by Mahesh Raikar in Birmingham, UK in 2012 was a result of his desire to marry Indian and Mexican flavours. The concept became a huge hit in the country and led to opening of multiple outlets. After opening two outlets in Dubai, the brand has begun its Indian foray by setting up an outlet at the newly-launched VR mall in Anna Nagar.

Wrapchic wraps together all the exciting and vibrant flavours of Indian street food into an easy to eat Mexican format. Formed in the trend-setting street language of Mumbai, ‘Wrapchic‘ or ‘Rap-chik’ is an expression used by Mumbaikars that conveys real satisfaction, in the most laid-back, cool way. The logo of the brand is in Warli art form with a bull, a representation of our combined heritage, reflecting our Indian heritage, our Birmingham roots and Mexican tradition.

The Chennai franchise head is a young and dynamic, Sanjana Konduru, who hosted us on a busy evening at the mall outlet. You can opt for a burrito, wrap, quesadilla or a rice bowl with different kind of fillings. They have options like Cottage Cheese, Nachos and Salsa Lazeez Burrito, Mix Sabzi Korma Burrito to Cheesy Mexicano Chicken Tikka Burrito to Mutton Potli Mexican Biryani Burrito.

You can also try out their Paneer Lababdar Wrap or Mutton Kheema Wraps. They have interesting rice bowls like Peppery Red Jhinga & Corn, Mexican Butter Chicken With Red Nachos and Hyderabadi Paneer Biryani. Wrapchic also served Paneer Bhurjee and Mutton Kheema Tacos and Wraposas (which are essentially sandwiches). The outlet also serves Nachos in vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties.

The outlet also serves desserts like Charcoal Ice Cream, Chocolate Chilly Ice Cream, Churros with Nutella Dark Chocolate and Wraposa Nutella along with slushes, milk shakes and virgin margharitas.
