Vidya Vox, whose real name is Vidya Iyer was born in Chennai and she will be performing in the city of her birth this March. The lady is all set to woo the city music lovers at a special concert to be held at VGP Universal Kingdom on March 18.

Born in Chennai and raised in Virginia, USA; Vidya holds a degree in psychology from 
George Washington University. She regularly sings in a band which is organised by Shankar
Tucker. She's currently learning Hindustani Classical and taking Western voice lessons.
She has learnt Carnatic classical music since she was a young girl and have had many 
amazing gurus throughout her journey, including D.K. Nagarajan, brother of the late 
D.K. Pattamal.
She staged her performance in various parts of the world like White House, National 
Centre for the Performing Arts (India), Webster Hall and her performance are staged at 
Festivals Des Artes in Reunion Island, INK Women, Suriname, Dubai and Meru Concert 
Series in Netherlands.
Vidya's mashups have gained recognition from the likes of Diplo & Major Lazer.
