Floral designs, sharp silhouettes or metallic colours – take your pick! Get your dream trousseau and then some more at Armoire, an amazing luxury pop-up curated by Nandini Varshnei that will be in town this Friday.
The power-packed event boasts a unique collection of ‘affordable luxury’ from a slew of designer names. On display at the pop up is a range of wardrobe essentials for all ages as well as a contemporary and modern take on festive staples for destination weddings, summer brunches or the soon-approaching festival of Holi. One can also consult with the designers themselves to build their own custom creation.
The pop-up will display Spring/Summer 2018 collections by popular designer Kavita Bhartia under her eponymous label. The designer’s love for feminine hues, floral motifs and geometric patterns will be showcased in this collection. The creation of fashion week designers Nupur Kanoi, Mrinalini and Pallavi Singh will also be on display. Some other designers to watch out for are Meghna Panchmatia with her collection of ombré shaded tunics in natural fabrics, Divya Gupta with her unique drapes and colourful palette and Stuti Kejriwal who brings in tow her collection of Indo-westerns with floral appliqués and embroideries.
Those looking for something more traditional can shop from Rupali Singh and Saumya boutique’s collection of ethnic wear. Accessory buffs can look forward to jewellery by Zariin and Pipa Bella, stylish juttis by Pastels & Pop and statement bags by Namrata Kumar.
Nandini Varshnei has been curating The Armoire for a while and has brought in some of the best designers in the country under one roof through it.
