Just as you get down the Kotturpuram flyover, that connects you to Anna Salai, there is a massive hoarding on the left side that welcomes you to Café De Paris. It is pretty hard to miss. On a Sunday evening, as we decided to try out the new boulangerie and were massively bowled over by the place.

The boulangerie has an amazing range of cakes, pastries, muffins, cheesecakes, quiches and tiramisu. In addition, you can take home a loaf of freshly baked bread to make baguettes or bread slices to prepare sandwiches.

Next to the boulangerie is the path that leads you to the Al Fresco seating area. Café De Paris has cozy corners and comfortable lounges are just perfect for having conversations, meetings, and spending some quality time with friends and loved ones. The interiors are quirky, colourful and warm. They immediately make you feel at home.

The friendly staff can guide you through the food menu which comprises of sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, salads, grills, bakes and desserts. Since we had gone for evening snack we opted for coffee, quiche and muffin. The spinach and corn quiche was rich and delicious. The muffin was baked to perfection and the coffee was pure magic.

While we didn’t get to try the main course owing to limited appetite, judging by the enthusiasm and response of foodies around; it was pretty much bang on! We will surely be going back to try the main course.

The gigantic space and ample parking space is a big plus.
