The omnichannel jeweller intends to increase its footprint at a fast pace and Chennai happens to be a niche but exciting market for them. “While we understand that as a city Chennai has more traditional taste in jewellery, we have a niche segment that is looking out for contemporary designs, that can be adorned during different occasions. This is a steadily rising segment and we intend to give them more options,” said Aakrosh Sharma, AVP, Merchandising at the opening of the second store.
The store at Phoenix Market City, has a warm and welcoming ambience that is sure to delight customers. “It has an elegant decor along with bright settings to offer a memorable experience to customers. The Chennai stores have a Solitaire Corner to assist diamond buyers to get the perfect solitaire and a virtual try-on ‘magic mirror’ for those ‘just looking’ moments,” said Mithun Sacheti, Founder & CEO CaratLane.
For the festive season, they have come up with innovative collections – Bombay Deco, Peacock and Ikat. In the Bombay Deco collection designs will take you back to the Bombay of mid-1930s, when the rise of art deco buildings was also a symbol of modernity, inspired by the West.
