Over the last few years Chennai has grown much more fashion-conscious than it ever was. Big international fashion labels have been slowly and steadily making their presence felt in the city. H&M and Gap have been the latest entrants. Top designers have been showcasing their collection at the multiple fashion weeks that the city now hosts. Women have great options to choose from – be it pret or couture. But actually, it’s not just them. Even men in Chennai can look forward to a fashionable 2017. Exclusive brands, collection and boutiques are being launched for men to put their most stylish foot forward.
Bengaluru-based brand Rare Rabbit, that recently set up shop at Express Avenue intends to take men’s dressing to another level. The store stocks up on apparels, ceramic accessories, eye-wear, timepieces and art; all for men. Most of their products are designed and developed across Europe. Interestingly, unlike other brands showcasing logo at prominent places, Rare Rabbit has its branding engraved on/below the collar of shirts, contrast lining inside, collarbones or metal button on the sleeves. Though priced on the slightly higher side, the cuts, colour and designing is top class.
