Then By Hand From The Heart is the place to be. The event starts at 10 am on both the days (8-9th Sep) and will be open till about 8 pm. Organised and curated by Deepa Sekar and Kshiti Davey, the Maker’s Market has managed to get a steady stream of visitors over the last few years. With the Navarathri season all set to make an appearance, the Maker’s Market focuses this year on dolls and gift articles.

Creative entrepreneurs, independent designers and small-scale artisans come together on a single platform to showcase their work at By Hand From The Heart. It is worth visiting the Market as not only can you choose from a wide variety of products, you can also talk to them and know the stories behind each and every creation in this market.

This year about 34 participants are expected from Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Nagpur, Bangalore, Delhi, Goa, Erode and namma Chennai presenting their original creations which includes  accessories, clothing, furniture, artworks and so much more.

Check out these - stationary from The Personalizing Studio; Advika’s vibrant handloom handwoven block printed sarees; Brainsmith’s new encyclopedic quantum cards for kids, crochet products by Crochet Love; Arundhathi Radhakrishnan’s designed wedding cards, postcards, Ramani’s costume dolls and Suvai, a farm-to-table venture by Divya and Sirisha.

Entry is free. Almost all the vendors accept cards and parking is free.
