The Express Avenue mall in Royapettah will be hosting a unique trunk show next week. It will showcase some of the biggest brands in festive wear, home décor, accessories and gifting options. The exhibitors at the show have been handpicked from across the country. Among some of the top brands will be a collection of festive wear from the popular Kanjeevaram saree boutique, Sarangi. It will display its bridal and festive collection.
Each of these pure silk sarees with golden zari is inspired from a wide variety of various motifs. Sarangi is also going to exhibit a classic collection of Evening and Office wear sarees. These sarees begin from INR 7,990. Evening wear sarees are ideal to wear at family get-togethers, party, Navratri and Diwali puja.
Aside from the above range of Kanjeevarams and soft silks, they will also be displaying a third category of sarees - the Kanchi Cottons and the Silk Cotton sarees. The Kanchi Cotton sarees are handwoven cotton sarees, priced between INR 1600 to 2500 and the Silk Cotton sarees are an innovative range with both silk and cotton yarns. They are rich yet graceful and start from INR 4500.
The trunk show will be held at the Central Atrium of Express Avenue and will also include a fashion show by Lakme India Fashion Week designers.
The trunk show will be held on September 17 and 18, 11 am to 8 pm.
