Ballet, the theatrical dance form that originated during Italian renaissance, has been loved by generations of art connoisseurs for its elegant style and great visual impact. It is a known fact that to acquire perfect ballet dancing skills, one needs to start early. Infact, those interested in pursuing the dance form begin learning the basics from the age of three.

If you are interested to teach the basics of ballet to your little one, then just register for the ballet dancing workshop organised by Wandering Artist, RA Puram. Dr. Nancy Cormier will take sessions for both boys and girls. Nancy is a dancer, theatre artist and has a PhD in Science and Technology Arts and Aesthetics. She was at the prestigious Academie Chaptal in Paris, dance theory at L’école Rick Odums.

They have two batches. If your kid is aged between 6 to 8, you can either him or her for 11 to 12 pm or 4 to 5 pm session and if your kid is aged 9 to 13, then you can opt for either 12 to 1 pm session or 5 to 6 pm. No prior ballet experience required, just the curiosity to learn. You need to dress your kid in white tights, white tee shirts, white socks or ballet shoes for the workshop.

The workshop will be held for 5 days, starting from April 23.
