Little Gym of Alwarpet, TTK Road, Alwarpet

This is a part of the The Little Gym, a US-based franchise and was started in 2016 at TTK Road by Divya Gopinath, a young mother, who came across The Little Gym in Bengaluru and fell in love with the concept. She felt Chennai needed a safe, secure and nurturing environment where children can have a balanced and fun learning experience. The centre offers programmes ranging from dance (hip-hop), karate, summer/winter camps to play dates. For the first time, The Little Gym has introduced a new concept called three-dimensional learning, which includes Get Moving (focuses on physical prowess like flexibility and overall balance), Brain Boost (thinking abilities including listening skills) and Citizen Kid (for leadership qualities and moral values). Here gymnastics is used as a confidence building tool.
The centre also conducts parent and child classes, where the former are trained in baby sign language to help make communication easier, besides other activities.

Toyz Day Out, Velachery

Toyzdayout has a perfect play area for kids in Chennai. The place is ideal for schools to bring in their group of students or for parents to send in a group of children living in their apartments or known to them otherwise. The play area is absolutely safe and clean. Every game is manned and guided by a Toyzdayout staff to ensure kids are taken care of. They have several play structures such as tree house, rock climbers, pirate ships, cars, ambulance, ball pits and ready-made play sets such as set-ups of a hospital, police station, classroom, kitchen and super market for role plays. This play area also rents out their toys and games for use at home for a brief period.
